Great Strategies for Building a Community
In the powerful Name of Jesus, Blessed Father, we thank and praise You for Your Presence, Your protection, and Your power, as we take time to pray for the salvation of our unsaved loved ones. O Lord, we pray for a great intervention of the Holy Spirit in the lives of those unsaved young adults at a time when they least expect anything good to come their way. Lord, You see what many millennials are going through without Jesus as the Captain of their souls. Some of them are having a tough time in this world, and they need Christ today.
Merciful Father, Your eyes are upon all of our young people who are floundering with no sense of direction. Many of them are so disgusted with life that they are ready to give up.
Others are trying so hard to find out what this life is all about, and they are trying to make the most of their circumstances with whatever positive event comes their way. Raise up some of their peers who are believers to tell them that what is happening here on this earth is not all there is to life…that Christ offers them a brand new life. Give the young believers many opportunities to share the Gospel with their peers.
Open many hearts to Jesus, even as we pray. May the Holy Spirit visit them with His convicting grace, and open their hearts to Jesus, our Savior, our Lord, and the Captain of our soul. In Jesus Name. Amen.
These MIllennials can be an Inspiration to Their Peers
Only 13 percent of millennials report career ambitions of climbing the corporate ladder to become a president or CEO, according to a Bentley University-commissioned survey. By contrast, some two-thirds (66 percent) cite starting their own business as a top goal. Still young and largely free from major lifestyle obligations, millennials are in prime position to pursue new, innovative and self-driven career endeavors.
In spite of dreary jobs forecasts hanging over this youngest generation of workers, the success stories of millennials-turned-millionaires can inspire peers and future generations alike to take the leap into entrepreneurship. Having already carved their own paths to fiscal and entrepreneurial success, these eight millennial millionaires exemplify the enormous value and opportunity of self-driven startups.

Thank you for praying for America today. If you have made it to this post, then you are automatically counted for today’s prayer. What to Do: Gather as many people as possible to pray with you. At noon…
When the two young reporters in Virginia left home very early Wednesday morning for their jobs as reporters, they had no idea that they would never return to their homes again. They had no idea that August 26, 2015 would be the last day of their employment as journalists at the TV station. They had no idea that they would never again see and hug their parents, their special loved ones, relatives, coworkers, and their friends.
Their loved ones never will see their smiling faces again. They will never receive their texts and their calls. They will never sit around the table again during the holidays or sit in the backyard for a family cookout. Their voices have been silenced by bullets of a deranged, evil man whom people say was a disgruntled, former coworker. These young people have left this world abruptly, and they did not have a chance to say goodbye to anyone.
This is appalling! This is heart-wrenching! This never should have happened!
Our thoughts and heartfelt prayers go out to their parents and loved ones in a very big way today, tomorrow, and for many years. No, we cannot say that we know how they feel if we have never experienced the loss of a child. We cannot tell them not to worry because everything will be alright. We cannot even assure them that time is a healer.
All that we can do is pray. We must pray. We must pray fervently that the Lord will shower them with grace upon grace upon grace to ease their pain and encourage their hearts, in ways that only He can. Pray that the Lord will saturate them with His comforting mercies and with the peace that passes all human understanding. Pray that they will feel the Presence of the Lord and welcome His peace.
At this same juncture, once again we are lifting up to the Lord in prayer, all the heart-broken and grief-stricken parents and loved ones who have been separated from their loved ones by the hands of a ruthless murderer in various locations in the United States. Our prayers are for all of them. We pray that the Lord will heal their broken hearts and strengthen them.
Most of all, we pray that the Holy Spirit will open their hearts to receive Christ as their Savior, Lord, and Prince of Peace, if they have not met Him personally yet. We pray that the Lord will hear and answer our marathon of prayers for the unsaved millennials across this nation and around the globe.
O Lord, save many millennials and their families, friends, neighbors, and coworkers today, even as we pray. In Jesus Name. Amen.
