1Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
The Lord blessed me with a great reminder this morning. There is truly nothing quite as refreshing and encouraging to me as when the Holy Spirit renews my mind with precious truths from God’s Word! If I may, with His help, I would like to try to share it with you.
The fact is, according to the scripture, when our lives are not primarily focused on glorifying God, we are missing the mark.
God reminds us continually throughout His Word of both the dangers of uplifting anyone or anything above Him, as well as the blessings that result from keeping Him in His rightful place.
A few of the best examples to me are: Pharaoh in: Exodus, chapters 5-15; Job in chapters 38-42; Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel chapters…
