Our whole life is to say, “Praise the Lord … Hallelujah!”

Learning From God's Word

Psalm 115:1-18
“Not to us … ” (Psalm 115:1). We worship the Lord. He has saved us. The God of grace comes to us. He calls us to “trust in the Lord” (Psalm 115:9-11). The Lord blesses those who fear Him (Psalm 115:12-13). He’s teaching us to live in a way that will bring praise and glory to Him. Our whole life is to say, “Praise the Lord … Hallelujah!” (Psalm 115:18)

If we be never so moral, generous, amiable, or patriotic, the rule will not be altered to make an exception for us. Sin will yield to nothing less potent than the blood of Him whom God hath set forth as a propitiation…

Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, 10 nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.

11 “Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. 12 And when you go into a household, greet…
