Matthew 7:22-23 – Jesus Says – Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23- And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

There Is Never A Time.
There is never a time where the Lord has no plans for your life.
For the Word of the Lord says; “The plans I have for you are plans of peace, not of evil, to give to you a future and hope”.
There is never a time where being the righteousness of God in Christ will not be effective for you.
For The Word of the Lord says: “The fervent prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective”.

“Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb.And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it.His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men.
But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.”

“Oh, what love! Christ would not intrust our redemption to angels, to millions of angels; but he would come himself, and in person suffer; he would not give a low and a base price for us clay. He wouldbuy us with a great ransom, so as he might over-buy us, and none could over-bid him in his market for souls. If there had been millions more believers, and many heavens, without any new bargain his blood should have bought them all, and all these many heavens should have smelled one rose of life; Christ should have been one and the same tree of life in them all. Oh, we under-bid, and undervalue that Prince of love, who did overvalue us; we will not sell all we have to buy him; he sold all he had, and himself too, to buy us.” (The Trial and Triumph of Faith by Samuel…

“I dare say that angels’ pens, angel’s tongues, nay, as many worlds of angels as there are drops of water in all the seas and fountains, and rivers of the earth cannot paint Him out to you. I think His sweetness has swelled upon me to the greatness of two heavens. O for a soul as wide as the utmost circle of the highest heaven to contain His love! And yet I could hold but little of it. O what a sight, to be up in heaven, in that fair orchard of the New Paradise, and to see, and smell, and touch, and kiss that fair field-flower, that evergreen tree of life! His bare shadow would be enough for me; a sight of Him would be the guarantee of heaven to me.”If there were ten thousand thousand millions of worlds, and as many heavens, full of men and angels, Christ…

The 134th Psalm begins with the invitation;
“Come, bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD” (ESV)
Every day the Lord is worthy for our blessings towards Him, every day. But today especially as we consider the finished work of Christ on our behalf, He is worthy of blessing. My pastor this morning in his sermon described Christ’s resurrection and noted the significance of it. He spoke of how Christ was an acceptable offering to God as He became sin (2 Cor. 5:21), which God publicly displayed as acceptable to Him by raising Christ from the dead. Not only has the crucified Christ been raised for us but does much more continually, aiding us, as our High Priest. With these truths, I look at what Samuel Rutherford had wrote in his collected writings titled, ‘The Letters of Samuel Rutherford’, as he speaks of a sorrow of his…
