Christ Has Given Us The Victory.
Revelation 16:1-17:8
We live in an unbelieving and rebellious world – ‘they refused to repent and glorify Him’. In an increasingly hostile environment, we must seek to maintain our faithful’ testimony’. There are many who take delight in sin. They rebel against God. They take pleasure in persecuting the people of God: ‘They will make war against the Lamb’. What are we to do when we face such determined opposition? – We must remind our enemies that they will be defeated by Christ: ‘the Lamb will overcome them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings’. We must remind them that Christ has given us the victory: ‘with Him will be His called, chosen and faithful followers’. ‘We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Nothing will be able to separate us from’ His love (16:9, 11; 17:5-6, 14; Romans 8:37-39).
John 7:37-38 ” On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, ‘If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.’ “
The yearning we feel inside is a Jesus-shaped void. Although we try to fill it with lots of things…the spiritual thirst is still there. And it’s not until we have that “Coming to Jesus” moment, that the void can be filled. Matthew 5:5 tells us, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” Quit trying to fill the hole inside you with junk, it’ll never work and only leave you more unhappy. Jesus is the only answer to finding peace in your life today.

The Fragrance After The Rain.
The Lord will not forget His Love for you. He also remembers when He became your First Love. He also remembers why you made Him your first love. He remembers the cry of your heart in the times of duress when you were not even aware of His reaching out to you.
He wants to refresh your life like the smell of the forest, the fragrance after the rain. There are times of refreshing ahead of you, when He opens your understanding about His intent to open the heavens to you, when you had walked on your own, as you thought no one could possibly see where your heart really was.
But the eye has not seen, nor has the ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man, the things that God has in store for those who love Him. But God…

If you are given a gift, where do you put it? Where are you keeping it? Where are you hiding it? Why are you hiding it?
If the Lord says to you, by name: ………”What do you want me to do for you? How will you answer Him?
There are times the Lord will ask you a question when it seems to be the most unlikely, and inopportune timing.
I believe it is because He wants to show you what is more important than what you are doing at the time.
He wants to show you that He is watching over you.
That is what a truly loving Father will do
He wants the Gifts He has given you to radiate the beauty of His Character.
