Pick a Weapon

Unfortunately, even for people of faith, we don’t get to escape life without a fight of some kind. For my wife and years ago, we experienced something that it took us never years to be able to pen in the Baby Steps book. For some believers, their battle is marital discord, for some, it is a wayward child, for others it is a loved one battling abuse, for yet another, it may be a toxic, work environment. Whatever your battle is, don’t run from it. Just go ahead and pick a weapon. Now, the trick in picking a weapon is that it has to be something that you know how to use. There is no need in bringing a bow and arrow to a street fight if you have never had an archery class, the same way you would not bring a sword to fight someone you knew was carrying…
