Psalm 36:5 ” Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the skies.”

Two years ago today, I embarked on a journey with God. And over these months and years He has taken the small pittance I offer, and has multiplied it like the loaves and fishes. God has turned 1 Devotional into 664 posts. He has taken these devotionals around the world to 76 countries who are now reading His Word daily. But most of all He has been faithful, for when I started, I had no idea what I was doing…but the Lord was there every step of the way…and still is today. I would like to thank each one of you who take the time to read Safetypinlove. Thank you for your support and kind remarks. I am truly humbled and honored to be used of God. Pam

John 15:12 ” My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”

Jesus loves us with an unconditional love…it has no bounds…no restrictions.  But can we love each other in the same way?  Maybe it can be in what we don’t do  that can show the love of Christ more effectively to those around us.  Instead of yelling in anger and frustration at the kids…we don’t.  Instead of becoming upset and disappointed with a co-worker…we don’t.  Instead of allowing discouragement and despair to break apart our marriage…we don’t.  For sometimes the greatest way to demonstrate God’s love to others… is in what we don’t do.

The Potters Touch

We all need people we can lean on. But are we such that people can lean on us?

We all want people to be nice to us. But are we nice to others?

We all want people to be blessings to us. But are we willing to be blessings for others?

For some people, life is all about what they can get from others. Well, let us not always think that way. Let us also think of how others can get from us. Let us go out of our way to be there for others. Let us go out of our way to make others comfortable around us.

We begin a new week leading us into the month of August. Let us learn to lend a shoulder to those in need. Let our looking down on people only be to bring them up. Let us quit giving excuses so as…

America’s Problems Are Not Political: They Are SPIRITUAL

Absolute Truth from the Word of God

Yesterday, I wrote an article in which I embedded Conservative news sites. Today I felt the need to stress to my readers that NO news site, however Conservative, will give the reader hope or joy or peace.  These can only be found in the Word of God and through our Savior Jesus Christ.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33)

America is a sin sick country.  The GOP mantra from the last election was “Make America Great Again.”  Brethren, there is no greatness if there is not godliness. We can have the fiercest army, the most sophisticated weaponry; walls to protect our borders……but if the church in America is weak, and deception and false teaching abounds – America will not be godly.

How far is your church’s reach with kindness and truth?

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!  In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade…” 1 Peter 1:3-4

Passages to ponder: 1 Peter 1:3-5, 13-16; 4:12; 5:10-11; 2 Peter 3:17-18; 1 John 1:5-7; 4:10-16; 5: 11-13; 2 John 5-6; 3 Jude 21-23

These early Christians who were grateful for Christ, placed Him as LORD, realized we need to guard His Truth so to live in truth and love.  How are we doing with that?

The people God brings you, that is the ones in your care need to know the importance of our relationship with God and with one another.  If you are not doing that you have a gaping hole in…
