After Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, he didn’t go about in hiding. He rather showed himself to his disciples at different times and places to confirm he had truly risen from the dead. Scripture has recorded several proofs of his existence. Let us see a few; Acts 1:3. “After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God”. Let us also remember here that in Matthew 28:9-10, Jesus appeared to the women near the tomb he was buried. To His disciples in Luke 24:36-43, and to more than 500 others as recorded in 1 Corinthians 15:6. In the days following His resurrection, Jesus taught His disciples about the kingdom of God.
