As a church planter, you know that you can’t plant a church by yourself (if you want it done correctly, mind you). You know that you’re going to need a team of people around you who you can trust and count on to help you reach the community by being the starting pillars in the church.

This team concept shouldn’t be a foreign idea to you because it definitely isn’t foreign in the Bible. In Ecclesiastes 4:12 God says “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

The more people in your group that have the same mindset as you and the Lord’s, the less likely the church plant will be a failure. Your core group will have strength that you would never have if you were to do this by yourself. So be ready to dig in and invest…
