As a new creation in Christ Jesus, inherent in you is the dynamic ability to cause changes. This power became resident in you upon receiving the Holy Spirit; it doesn’t need to be replenished by any outside force. We see this in the life of Jesus. Throughout His earthly ministry, He never once prayed to the Father to grant Him power; He was powered from within by the Holy Spirit!
The same goes for us today. The power of God is in your spirit; you received this power into you when you received the Holy Spirit.
