I haven’t updated my blog in two weeks because I had taken a 23 hour flight half way across the world to the beautiful country of South Africa for a mission trip with some really amazing people.
Differences to look for:
The first thing I realized when I pulled up to the mountain in Johannesburg was the protection around every single property. When I asked a guy about it there, his words were; “It’s all about protection here, you have to put up a gate around your property and your house, you must lock your door and the door to your bedroom when you sleep. Most people are also armed a majority of the time” said a man who worked for Door of Hope, a ministry that saves abandoned babies. Learn more here.
