His Endless Love

Gihon Publishing Blog: Heavenly Treasures Ministries www.gihonpublishing.co.uk

Endless love
God’s love is so distinguishing. The extent of His love made Him give up His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

The expression of God’s love is beautifully displayed in the fact that He died for a people completely undeserving of His love. The human race takes pleasure in sin. It is drenched in it. Without the redeeming power of the blood creation would have been without hope.

Romans 5:8Amplified Bible

“But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.”

1 John 4:10 Amplified Bible
10 In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins.

A must READ

Good morning said a woman as she walked up to the man sitting on the ground.

The man slowly looked up.

This was a woman clearly accustomed to the finer things of life. Her coat was new.. She looked like she had never missed a meal in her life….

His first thought was that she wanted to make fun of him, like so many others had done before.. “Leave me alone,” he growled….

To his amazement, the woman continued standing.

She was smiling — her even white teeth displayed in dazzling rows. “Are you hungry?” she asked.

“No,” he answered sarcastically. “I’ve just come from dining with the president. Now go away.”

The woman’s smile became even broader. Suddenly the man felt a gentle hand under his arm.

“What are you doing, lady?” the man asked angrily. “I said to leave me alone.

Just then a policeman…

Come to Me

I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger. —John 6:35

When Jesus lived on this earth, He invited people to come to Him, and He still does today (John 6:35). But what do He and His Father in heaven have that we need?

Salvation. Jesus is the only way to have forgiveness of sin and the promise of heaven. “Whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:15).

Purpose. We are to give all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength to following Jesus. “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me” (Mark 8:34).

Comfort. In trial or sorrow, the “God of all comfort . . . comforts us in all our tribulation” (2 Cor. 1:3-4).

Wisdom. We need wisdom beyond our own for making decisions. “If…

Oh! it must have been sweet to have lived with Christ

StopAndPrayTV

Oh! it must have been sweet to have lived with Christ. Surely, sorrows were then but joys in masks, because they gave an opportunity to go to Jesus to have them removed. Oh! would to God, some of us may say, that we could have lain our weary heads upon the bosom of Jesus, and that our birth had been in that happy era, when we might have heard His kind voice, when he said, “Let the weary ones come unto me.” But hear how kindly Jesus speaks: “I will not leave you comfortless, for I will pray the Father, and He will send you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever.”

The NFL has not been kind to Tim Tebow. As the football star attempted to re-enter the league, his journey was cut short even before the regular season started. Tebow, who had been a favorite to dominate the NFL once he got drafted, failed to get signed as the third quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles. Although the Christian athlete tried to overcome all the obstacles along the way, DeMarco Murray still found him lacking. That is, former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly pointed out that Tebow needs more experience to succeed in the NFL.
