He will Help us Escape the Corruption of this World

God's Word for Women

Once we are born-again by the blood of Jesus, we continuously grow to know God more. Being saved does not mean that we are not still sinners, or that we will not be tempted to sin. We are still human with a worldly flesh that we must battle constantly. But, God promises to give us His divine power through His Holy Spirit to escape the sin of this world. On our own, we do not have power against evil, but just the name of Jesus sends evil fleeing from us.

II Peter 1:3-4 “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in…

Prayer for Anointing

It is time, O God, for Thee to work, for the enemy has entered into Thy pasture, and the sheep are torn and scattered. False shepherds abound who deny the danger and laugh at the perils which surround Thy flock.

Lord Jesus, I come to Thee for spiritual preparation. Lay Thy hand upon me, anoint me with the oil of the New Testament prophet. Save me from the error of judging a church by its size, its popularity or the amount of its yearly offering.

Help me to remember that I am a prophet—not a promoter, not a religious manager. Let me never become a slave to crowds. Heal my soul of carnal ambitions and deliver me from the itch for publicity.

Build For The Future – Pray And Witness.

Learning From God's Word

“The Lord is your keeper” (Psalm 121:5); “My help comes from the Lord” (Psalm 121:2).

Such words fill us with hope – and they call us to prayer. They do not fill us with a superficial optimism. They stir us to receive more of the Lord’s help, and to know more of His keeping power.

When we come to God in prayer, we come with questions: Will the Lord hear our prayer? Will He not dismiss us as guilty sinners who have no right to come to Him, no right to ask for His blessing?

  • The Scriptures speak with unmistakable realism, about our sin: “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way” (Isaiah 53:6).

They also speak, with tremendous encouragement, about God’s salvation: “And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all” (

Help us, Lord, to hear Your Word, to speak Your Word, and to live Your Word.

Learning From God's Word

Help us, Lord, to hear Your Word, to speak Your Word, and to live Your Word. You speak to us. Are we listening? There are people who need to hear Your Word. Do we fail them? Do we keep Your Word to ourselves? the world is watching us. Are we living for You? In our hearing, speaking and living, help us, Lord, to be, more truly and more fully, all that You want us to be.

Word from Jerusalem – February 2016

Looking for the Blessed Hope

Happy Lord’s Day!  Today I want to introduce you to a publication produced by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem.  Word from Jerusalem is a magazine focused on happenings in Israel, primarily through the lens of the work done by ICEJ.  It is well-done, and will provide you a mix of news, ministry reports, and Bible teaching all related to Israel.

In this particular edition you will find a short report on the Christian Leaders Seminar I was privileged to attend last November-December.  That report is on page 30.
