Prayer Warrior Wannabe

I’m a prayer warrior wannabe. I believe strongly in the power of prayer. If I see an accident, I immediately breathe a quick prayer for the victims and their families. When I hear of someone’s distress, I quickly promise to pray; and I do – at least that one time!

My problem is, I forget to continue praying. After I say a quick prayer for a friend on facebook who is going through tough times, I continue my day and forget to for him or her pray again; at least until I get an update on how he or she is doing. I remember the story Jesus told about the woman and the unjust judge. When the judge ignored her pleas for help, she continued to bother him. Her aim was to finally make him give in and help her in spite of himself, just so he could get some peace.
