John Piper’s Sermon from 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12

This powerful sermon by John Piper from 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 has been a life-changing blessing to me throughout 2015. It reminds us that God is pleased when we seek His power to fulfill our good resolves and acts of faith. Why?  It is so that God will be glorified in Christ  Jesus.

“To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of His calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by His power, so that the name of the Lord Jesus may be glorified in you and you in Him, according to the grace of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ.”       [2 Thessalonians 1:11-12]

During these turbulent times, I feel that it is important to pursue a greater passion for God’s Glory so that we can seek His power to magnify Christ in our gospel outreaches among the nations.
